We have an opportunity for a Law Clerk to join our team in Penrith. This is a full time permanent position.
In this role you will assist a Legal Counsel with their Workers Compensation matters. You will ensure the efficient day to day operation of the files including preparation of matters for trial. Some of the key responsibilities include

In this role you will assist a Legal Counsel with their Workers Compensation matters. You will ensure the efficient day to day operation of the files including preparation of matters for trial. Some of the key responsibilities include
- Analyse relevant issues and files under supervision
- Review, analyse and summarise documentation
- Draft correspondence to clients and third parties
- Preparing legal correspondence, court documents and briefs to Counsel
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal and external stakeholders
To be successful in this role our ideal candidate will have a proven ability to empathise with our clients whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism. The following attributes and skills will ensure your ongoing success
- Experience with or exposure to personal injury files
- Ability to exercise judgement and resolve problems
- A natural passion for helping people and high level of empathy
- Exceptional experience in communication and customer service
- Excellent written and drafting skills
- Recognise the importance of attention to detail and time management
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Available to work 38 hours per week, between the hours of 8 30am – 5pm Monday to Friday
