About The Role

Our Account Managers are our client’s first point of contact, and our main source of outstanding proactive customer service. The role is split between existing customer and team support; you will be required to support Streem’s existing customers in using the company’s real-time media intelligence platform and to provide day-to-day account management service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Setting up, customising, and managing a customer’s Streem account, including creation of keyword/Boolean searches.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships by serving as their key contact.
  • Training and educating customers on the use of Streem’s platform through virtual and face-to-face meetings.
  • Collecting feedback from customers and representing their requirements in internal product development meetings.
  • Proactively identifying important media, key events, and issues for the customer, and relaying these to the appropriate teams (e.g. Customer Experience, Product, etc.)
  • Identifying solutions and opportunities to client challenges.
  • Producing a range of reports, as well as producing transcripts, summaries, and downloadable broadcast Media Items.
  • Maintaining clear and consistent communication with customers and the internal team (i.e. Customer Support, Sales, Product & Development, and Curation teams)
  • Ensuring all client-related tasks are completed in accordance with internal and external service standards.
  • Providing quality control of news content flowing through the platform.

About You

  • 1-2 years experience in a Customer Success or Account Manager position.
  • Strong customer-facing skills with an ability to take initiative and adapt to changing situations, whilst maintaining composure.
  • Ability to proactively manage conflicting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a sharp attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Energetic, media-savvy and positive go-getter with a can-do attitude.

Beyond This, a Few Desirable And Advantageous Qualities Include

  • Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in Communications/Media/Public Relations, Journalism, or another relevant field are preferred;
  • Media/news/content experience is highly advantageous;
  • Keen personal interest in the Australian Media Landscape;
  • Prior experience working with media monitoring, data and analytics or social listening tools preferred;
  • Experience working with Excel, Project Management Tools/CRM tools/Boolean Search.
