Your role within the team
The Quality Assurance Associate role will be responsible for the site always complying with the Food Safety Program and relevant regulations and ensuring the site is ready for audit all the time. Provide quality recommendations to the business when required via a risk-based approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- To implement the quality function to ensure that products and processes complies the Food Safety Program and specifications,
- To resolve quality-related issues arising from operation by providing quality risk assessment and recommendations,
- To manage the hold and release procedures of raw materials and finished goods in collaboration with the QC team,
- To conduct GMP audits and GEMBA walks on a regular basis as well as ensure the corrective actions raised from the audit will be closed within the assigned timeframe,
- To participate in external audits from Governmental Bodies and 3rd party certification,
- To manage the status and progress of all corrective actions by holding CAR meetings, documenting the non-conformances, organising the investigation, and assigning actions to related persons,
- Support the quality modules of staff training on-site,
- Manage any ad-hoc quality projects as per the project schedule,
- To encourage the importance of food safety, quality procedures, and GMP to all staff,
- To drive quality continual improvements.
