As a Roster Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring effective workforce scheduling by:

  • Managing rostering systems to ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Liaising with managers and employees to coordinate shift coverage
  • Assisting with payroll processes related to rostering
  • Maintaining accurate workforce records and responding to rostering queries

About our team

Roster Maintenance

Roster Support Officers (RSO) provide support for the IWFM rostering solution, supporting the nursing and midwifery cohort and applying a consistent approach across the business to ensure functions and timeframes are streamlined, resulting in accurate pay outcomes. Roles within this team are day workers, generally working Monday - Friday business hours.

Relief Management team

The Relief Management team provides an essential function in day-to-day workforce management by meeting service delivery demands and maintaining productivity by replacing employees unable to work scheduled shifts, such as unplanned leave or sourcing extra employees to manage an increase in workload. They assist the Nursing Midwifery cohort to deliver this service. Work within this team involves shift work (day shifts and late shifts) Monday - Sunday.

About you

  • Previous experience in Rostering and/or Payroll highly desirable
  • Experience in a Healthcare setting
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
