Facilities Attendant

Job Description

Reporting to the Village Manager, this position is 14/7 drive in / drive out roster and is responsible for providing a consistent, quality grounds keeping service to our guests and customers, including basic maintenance work, grounds maintenance and garbage collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent facilities services in a timely manner consistent with all quality standards and service level agreements with minimum disruption to our guests and customers.
• General repairs and maintenance of site grounds, facilities, buildings, and general gardening duties
• Regular collection and maintenance of waste throughout the site
• Keep all work areas, workshops, tools, and vehicles in a tidy, safe and professional condition.
• Facilitate and maintain a safe environment for our guests and customers.
  
  

To Be Successful, You Will Have

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a maintenance or trades assistant role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• LF Forklift Licence
• Experience working in a high volume, fast paced environment.
• Knowledge of equipment routinely used (e.g. ride on & push mowers, whipper snipper, blower vac)
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Proof of working rights within Australia
• Valid National Police Check
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Remote work experience (highly regarded)
