Job Description
Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design, write, and deploy software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Oracle products and services. Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems. Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning.

Responsibilities
- You will need to actively collaborate with many other engineering teams in the Oracle Netsuite Cloud Operations (system engineering, network team, infrastructure engineering, security, maintenance team) to support, design and implement as well as tooling and automation platforms
- On daily basis resolve site incidents on various levels of cloud infrastructure - from Network, OS to Application issues
- Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production services
- Partner with development teams in defining and implementing improvements in service architecture
- Demonstrate clear understanding of automation and orchestration principles
- Act as escalation point for complex or critical issues that have not yet been documented as Standard Operating Procedures
- Develop automation for repetitive or simple tasks
- Provide investigation and troubleshooting input during major customer impacting events
- Work fully in Linux terminal
- Work with monitoring and analytic tools like Prometheus, Grafana and OpenSearch to resolve incidents and identify problems
- Cooperate with multiple teams to build systems and services that improve operational efficiency, drive reliability, scalability, resilience, security, and performance across Oracle NSGBU product.
- Be part of a roster in 24x7 Follow the Sun Operational coverage.
