What does the job look like?
The Commercial & BI Analyst plays a key role in driving the performance and sustainability of the Bevchain operation through strategic analysis and rate proposal development. As a core collaborator between our Commercial and Operations teams, this role helps identify the financial impacts of operational decisions, engages in continuous improvement activities and support new business acquisition.

What does the job look like?
The Commercial & BI Analyst plays a key role in driving the performance and sustainability of the Bevchain operation through strategic analysis and rate proposal development. As a core collaborator between our Commercial and Operations teams, this role helps identify the financial impacts of operational decisions, engages in continuous improvement activities and support new business acquisition.

Key areas:
- Provide analysis of reported data, prepare and use KPI data, and support budget and forecasting processes.
- Conduct capital investment analysis, develop financial appraisal techniques, and prepare CAMs for ELT and Board approval.
- Prepare detailed commercial models, financial models for RFP responses, and support strategic decision-making.
- Recommend process improvements, support continuous improvement projects, and identify opportunities to enhance financial performance.
- Develop reporting tools, generate performance-based financial reporting, and exception reporting against financial KPIs.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, liaise with various departments, and ensure excellent customer service.
You’re a Commercial, Accounting and Finance professional looking to further cultivate a successful career within the Commercial space. You have a passion for modelling and analysis, and transforming numbers into actionable, understandable and commercially focused insights. You are an effective communicator and have an ability to manage diverse relationships both internally and externally.
You can demonstrate:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business or related field.
- CA, CFA, CPA Qualified or in the process of completing units.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a commercial or financial analysis related role.
- Ability to reconcile financial information with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to demonstrate advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working with and developing PowerBI dashboards.
- Experience with TM1 or similar tools is highly regarded.
- Analytical capability with exposure to modelling, data mining and summarising.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to consult with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working within either the FMCG, Retail, Beverage, Manufacturing or Transport, Logistics and Supply Chain sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
