We are now looking for a Systems Administrator to join the National IT team based in Southport, QLD.

About The Position

• Receive escalated incidents, requests, tasks and problems and action appropriately.
• Assist with Resolving known errors and defined issues
• Provide a backup role to the helpdesk when resources are unavailable, including phone support
• Communicate with stakeholders on progress of problem resolution and projects
• Maintain and update core systems including security updates, patches and fixes as required as well as per regular patching schedule
• Systems include: VMWare, Intune, PRTG, MS365, Active Directory, HyperFlex, Storage, Veeam, MS Server, MS HyperV, SQL
• Ensure all systems are monitored, healthy and up to date
• Ensure resolution SLA’s are maintained
• Proactively look for efficiencies with processes and automated tasks
• Provide recommendations on new technologies
  
  

About You

• IT qualification from tertiary institution or vendor
• Experience with AWS / Azure would be advantageous
• Industry certification (MSCA, etc)
• IT System admin background
• High degree of accuracy and data management skills
• Exemplary telephony and written communication skills
• Project management experience
• Three to five years’ experience in a similar role
