This position and will be offered as Full time Permanent role at working with the staff at multiple sites within the Northern Rivers Region. Preferably the candidate will be based out of Casino residential Aged care facility, however this is not essential as candidate maybe based at another site but will need to be able to travel to other sites as need be.

- Please note: This role will include travel allowance on top of base and super.
- Promote contemporary practices across Residential facilities or Home Care services to support adherence with SCC policies and procedures, relevant standards, legislation and accepted industry practices
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the organisation quality management system
- Respond to the educational needs of Residential facilities or Home Care Services as required.

Key Responsibilities
Education Design And Delivery
- Deliver competent clinical and non-clinical education to ensure that staff are prepared to deliver safe, evidence-based care.
- Contribute to the professional development of care staff through coordination of education programs designed to optimise SCC’s care and service delivery.
- Develop learning experiences and uses strategies that meets the individual learners needs including the provision of support for skills development in clinical procedures for new learners or staff being introduced to new procedures.
- Through partnership with Learning and Development team, develop a unit specific education pathway/ program to build capability of staff.
- Participate in workforce development planning and participate in the development and implementation of aligned educational plans in conjunction s with Quality Manager, Sydney Residential Manager and People and Culture.
- Sharing resources, training packages, programs and materials across care streams in consultations with the Quality Manager and Learning and Development Team and Head of Care.
- Current Authority to practice as Registered Nurse (Division 1), General with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency
- Current driver’s Licence
- Postgraduate qualification in adult education, aged care, palliative care or mental health.
