LY Lawyers Pty Ltd are amongst NSW leading Criminal Law Firms, specialising exclusively in Criminal Law. We have offices in Sydney, Liverpool and Wollongong. We are a hard working, close-knit team.

Due to our rapidly growing firm we are in need of a Paralegal to assist our LIverpool Office in the running of a busy criminal practice.

The day to day duties will include, but are not limited to;

• Taking Calls and messages;
• diary management, including organising internal and external client meetings;
• Taking payments over the phone and in person;
• ging the process of opening new clients and matters through to closure of a matter;
• Booking visits at Correctional Centres;
• Ad hoc Duties; Filing, scanning, attending to emails, printing emails and putting on file;
• Paralegal work including assisting our solicitors with criminal law cases;
• Attending court and instructing Barristers in Hearings, District Court and Supreme Court Trials
  
  

To be successful for this role you must have;

• Strong communication and organisational skills;
• Work Calm under pressure;
• The ability to prioritise;
• The ability to multitask and be pro-active;
• Willingness to learn;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Some Accounts Clerk experience including data entry.
  
  

This is a full time role, so full time university students please not apply.

Some Criminal Law Experience Is Preferred But Not Essential.

Training and support will be provided.
