As The Lead/Senior Speech Therapist, You Will
- Deliver personalized Speech Therapy services to clients in clinic, home, community, and Telehealth settings to children, adolescents, and adults with intellectual disabilities and ASD.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care
- Providing education and training to clients, families, and carers to promote independence and self management
- Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed records following professional standards
- Coach, advise, and provide on-the-job support to experienced and graduate-level staff to improve their skills and knowledge in all areas of disability practice and ensure staff use evidence-based interventions and practices to improve client outcomes.
- Contribute to program development and review, ensuring services align with client needs and NDIS requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely client documentation, reports, and records in compliance with NDIS and organizational policies.
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Therapy and current SPA registration
- Strong clinical supervision experience (at least 3 years of clinical experience)
- Someone who has a passion for working in the disability sector
- Excellent clinical skills and a deep understanding of Speech Therapy principles and best practices
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice
- A leader who exudes positivity and leads by example, inspiring both clients and team members
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the individual needs of clients and their families.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid NSW driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check clearance
