Xinference
About Xinference
Xinference is an Australian-owned AI infrastructure company delivering sovereign AI inference: run any model, through one API, with data kept in Australia. Our platform puts a single OpenAI-compatible API in front of 300+ open models across language, embedding, reranking, speech, image and multimodal tasks, plus customers' own fine-tunes, so teams can swap models, hardware or clouds without rebuilding their applications. Our offering spans:
- Model API: a self-serve, pay-per-token API for frontier open models such as Kimi K3 and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, served from dedicated GPUs in Australia.
- Dedicated Inference: Xinference Enterprise deployed in a customer's own VPC, data centre or servers, or as a managed, dedicated environment in Australian data centres via Xinference Cloud — one control plane to deploy, route and govern models from app to GPU.
- Xagent: a natural language AI agent builder that executes complex tasks autonomously with no coding or flowcharts required.
Role Overview
We are looking for a fullcycle BDM to build and close a pipeline of midmarket and enterprise accounts across Australia. There is the expectation that you also carry out your own prospecting and generate new business opportunities. You will own the sales cycle from qualification through to close, selling to CTOs, Heads of AI, and IT leadership at organisations where private AI deployment is a regulatory requirement or strategic priority.
