Job Description
- Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for ASP1, ASP2, civil and public lighting projects.
- Analyse drawings, specifications and project scopes to develop accurate pricing.
- Assess labour, plant, equipment, subcontractor and material costs.
- Develop competitive and profitable bids aligned with project requirements.
- Engage with project managers, engineers and subcontractors during tender phases.
- Conduct site visits to identify risks and validate estimating assumptions.
- Support procurement activities and project handovers for awarded work.
- Maintain tender systems, records and reporting within the business management framework.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator should have:
- Experience as an Estimator within ASP1, ASP2 and civil infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding of ASP3 electrical designs and utility standards.
- Minimum two years' experience within the electricity supply industry.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and competency with project software.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Values-driven professional who is positive, approachable and dependable.
