An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Civil Site Supervisor to join a leading Australian civil construction contractor delivering major infrastructure, resources and industrial projects across Western Australia.
Initially, you will join a significant concentrator repair project involving a major civil works package focused on repairing and upgrading critical infrastructure at a major salt production facility in the Pilbara.
Following completion of this project, there will be an opportunity to transition onto a transport infrastructure project, working closely with Main Roads WA (MRWA) and a major mining operator.
With a strong pipeline of future FIFO projects, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Civil Site Supervisor looking for long-term career opportunities with a well-established contractor.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day civil construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, schedules and quality requirements.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Supervising civil construction and earthworks activities across remote project sites.
- Coordinating subcontractors, plant, equipment and site personnel.
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with project specifications, drawings and schedules.
- Monitoring productivity, quality and safety across all site activities.
- Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and other key stakeholders.
- Managing daily site operations, reporting and progress updates.
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring project delivery requirements are met.
About You
To Be Considered For This Position, You Will Have
- Strong civil construction and earthworks experience gained working for main contractors on remote sites throughout Western Australia.
- Previous experience supervising major civil works packages on mining, resources or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating subcontractors, plant and site personnel.
- A strong understanding of civil construction methodologies, earthworks and site delivery.
- Previous experience working on MRWA and/or Rio Tinto projects will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Full Australian working rights.
- The ability and willingness to work a FIFO 2/1 roster.
- Possess S26.
Candidates without a strong civil and earthworks background working for main contractors on remote WA projects will not be considered suitable for this position.
