Airtime Systems Lead
NOVA Entertainment
At NOVA Entertainment, we have a culture of innovation, creativity and exceptional service. We move fast, think big and thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
Our values, we call The Code shape how we work and how we show up for each other, our clients and audiences.
How does this apply?
You will bring Relentless Curiosity to the way NOVA manages and improves its Airtime systems. As our Airtime Systems Lead on a 12-month, Max-Term basis, you will explore how Aquira and connected broadcast systems can work better, investigate issues at their source and turn operational requirements into practical, reliable solutions.
This role brings Unwavering Unity to life by connecting Airtime, Sales, Digital Ad Operations, Sponsorships, Programming, Finance and Technology. You will provide trusted day-to-day systems support, coordinate changes across connected workflows and keep stakeholders informed from investigation through to resolution.
In practice this looks like
- Administer Aquira user accounts, permissions, roles and approved system configuration across stations, products, inventory, contracts and reporting.
- Manage Airtime systems queries, investigate incidents and provide practical advice, corrective actions and workarounds.
- Use Aquira, GSelector and Zetta schedules, logs and system information to troubleshoot clock, networking, integration and broadcast-delivery issues.
- Maintain approved commercial clocks, broadcast and Digital Audio ratecards, sponsorship setups, credits and recurring ATN requirements.
- Coordinate testing and implementation of approved system enhancements, integrations and automations, including Aquira to Campaign Boss and ATN.
- Maintain reliable Aquira reports, data exports, user guides, process documentation and quarterly systems updates.
- Escalate material risks, significant incidents and development requirements to the Airtime Operations & Systems Manager with clear findings and operational impacts.
At NOVA, Radical Empathy means understanding what others need and responding with care: that shows up through the outcomes you deliver and the strengths you bring every day.
This can be demonstrated by
- Listening carefully to users and understanding the operational impact behind each support request.
- Communicating clearly and respectfully during incidents, changes and competing priorities.
- Providing practical training and targeted support that builds confidence and closes recurring knowledge gaps.
- Keeping stakeholders informed throughout investigation, testing and implementation.
- Balancing urgent business needs with system controls, accuracy and downstream broadcast impacts.
- Working collaboratively with Technology teams, RCS, external vendors and offshore colleagues to reach the right outcome.
Skills that help you succeed in this role:
- Experience administering a broadcast inventory, traffic or comparable operational system, preferably Aquira.
- Strong understanding of Airtime workflows, commercial clocks and the operational impact of system configuration.
- Working knowledge of GSelector and Zetta, including reviewing schedules, logs and system information for troubleshooting.
- Strong technical troubleshooting, testing and structured problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
- Clear documentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence working across Technology teams and external system vendors.
