About The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Communications Technician to join our Crossmuller team based at our Mt Gambier, SA facility.

Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Assess software and hardware requirements and deliver effective solutions to technical issues across site and office environments
• Provide responsive helpdesk support, resolving software and hardware queries for project personnel
• Tailor and configure existing applications to meet the operational needs of site teams and users
• Install, update and maintain software across a range of devices and systems
• Monitor and optimise the performance of applications and equipment to keep the project running efficiently
• Set up, configure and support computer networks, including site-based and temporary infrastructure
• Repair, replace and maintain peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers and modems, minimising downtime

This is a full-time position. Salary for this position will be from $79,499 per annum.

About You

To be considered for this position you will have:

• ICT Support Degree, Diploma or equivalent experience
• 2+ years’ experience in a Communications Technician role or similar
• Experience in computer maintenance and infrastructure
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Project management
• Troubleshooting and problem solving

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which may include functional, audiometric, drug and alcohol testing.
