Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our Darwin operations team. Reporting to the Mechanical Team Lead, you will provide leadership and coordination across mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently and in line with operational requirements.

This role is responsible for supervising maintenance personnel and contractors, driving a strong safety culture, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the reliability and availability of critical plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and supervise a team of up to 20 mechanical tradespeople and contractors.

* Coordinate preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance activities.

* Ensure maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures, statutory requirements and permit systems.

* Work closely with operations, planning and engineering teams to optimise maintenance schedules and minimise downtime.

* Conduct work site inspections, safety observations and risk assessments.

* Complete and drive Continuous Performance Improvement (CPI) initiatives.

* Monitor maintenance performance, productivity and quality outcomes.

* Support shutdowns, major maintenance campaigns and turnaround activities.

* Review maintenance documentation and work orders to ensure accurate record keeping.

* Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance strategies and operational efficiency.

* Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the workforce.

About You

* Mechanical trade qualification or relevant engineering qualification.

* Previous experience in a Mechanical Supervisor role within LNG, oil & gas.

* Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams.

* Strong understanding of maintenance planning, asset reliability and safety management systems.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
