We are seeking a passionate Casual Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team at Best Western Olde Maritime, 110 Merri Street, Warrnambool, VIC — a 43-room hotel at the western end of the Great Ocean Road, beside Flagstaff Hill, and home to the recently refurbished Clovelly Restaurant & Bar, open seven days for breakfast and dinner.

Role overview

A Food & Beverage Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role reports to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent service by taking orders accurately, answering inquiries and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of dining areas, including tables, chairs and service stations
• Process payments accurately, handle cash and operate POS systems efficiently
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling and storage of food items
• Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar and other hotel team members to ensure smooth operations
• Work with the General Manager and the team to enhance guest service standards that meet and exceed our guests’ expectations
