A-Grade Electrician, Inner West Sydney | $48 to $55 per hour + super | Full time

I’m Ken, a second-generation sparky. I did my apprenticeship in Dublin and have run Kmelectric in Sydney’s Inner West since 2008. We’re a family-run business based in Dulwich Hill, we’re growing, and I need an experienced electrician who can run jobs on their own and look after the customer.

The work

Installations, switchboard upgrades, fault-finding, smoke alarms and EV chargers across homes, apartments and commercial properties, mostly in the Inner West and Inner Sydney. You take the van home and start on site at 7:30 am. There’s also the option to learn CCTV, alarms and intercoms.

What You Get

• $48 to $55 per hour + super ($55 if you can run a job start to finish from day one)
• $1,000 bonus after your three-month probation
• Take-home van, fuel card and tolls
• Full-time, ongoing, 38-hour week
• Stocked van, uniform, PPE and test equipment supplied
• Admin looks after bookings, invoicing and chasing clients
• Paid training and a path to leading hand
• Flexibility when family or personal matters come up

What You Need

• A current NSW electrical licence, or an overseas licence if you’re already living and working in Sydney
• At least three years post-licence experience
• Confidence fault-finding and running jobs on your own
• Australian driver’s licence, White Card and your own hand tools
