Concrete Finisher

• Form, Reo and Pour projects
• Local Darwin Marine and Defence projects
• Permanent full-time position. Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays. 10 hour days

THE ROLE

Join our Northern Territory project teams delivering major infrastructure projects across Darwin. We are seeking experienced Concrete Finishers with proven skills in finishing, curing and repairing concrete to support the successful delivery of FRP works.

Responsibilities

• Carry out concrete finishing activities to achieve the required surface finish and quality standards
• Screed, edge, trowel and finish concrete surfaces in accordance with project specifications
• Apply curing, sealing and concrete protection methods as required
• Repair and rectify concrete defects to maintain quality outcomes
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications accurately
• Assist with reinforcing steel installation and concrete placement activities as required across the FRP cycle
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers and project teams to achieve project milestones
• Operate hand tools, power tools and construction equipment safely and effectively
• Adhere to all safety, environmental and quality requirements on Defence and Marine construction projects

About You

• Valid drivers licence
• Construction white card
• Demonstrated experience as a concrete finisher
• Competent in operating EWPs and working safely at heights
• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
