About the role

As our new General Manager Data, Integration & Innovation, you'll lead a critical function within our Technology division, reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. You'll set the strategic direction for CareSuper's member-enabled and enterprise platforms, data ecosystem, integration services and emerging technology capabilities. Your mission is to ensure these capabilities are secure, scalable, compliant and aligned with our strategy, while delivering better experiences and measurable value for our members.

You will:

• Lead the Data, Integration & Innovation function, setting strategic direction and driving operational excellence across platforms, data, integration and innovation.
• Oversee the delivery, reliability and continuous improvement of CareSuper's member-enabled and enterprise platforms.
• Guide the development and governance of the Enterprise Data Hub, data engineering pipelines, Azure Integration Services and the API roadmap.
• Establish robust data and AI governance frameworks, including stewardship, acceptable use, risk controls and regulatory guardrails.
• Foster responsible innovation across AI, automation and robotics, moving high-value initiatives from experimentation into governed delivery.
• Lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, workforce planning, vendors, contracts and performance across the function.
• Represent Technology in executive and governance forums, audits and regulatory engagements, ensuring alignment with architecture, cybersecurity and risk frameworks.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an accomplished technology leader who can bring together strategy, delivery, risk and innovation in a complex, regulated environment. You'll combine deep technical credibility with commercial judgement, a collaborative leadership style and a strong commitment to delivering better outcomes for members.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• Proven leadership experience across platform engineering, data or innovation
• Deep expertise in platform delivery, cloud-native services, modern software development practices and enterprise data environments, including technologies such as Azure and Databricks.
• The ability to think strategically and deliver outcomes.
• Strong experience in API management, integration services, microservices architecture, agile delivery and DevSecOps.
• Demonstrated success establishing data and AI governance frameworks aligned with risk, privacy and regulatory expectations.
• A track record of delivering emerging technology and innovation initiatives with measurable business or member value.
• Strong commercial acumen, vendor management capability and experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to advise executives, Boards and governance forums.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology, data science, engineering or a related discipline.
