System Engineer
NTT DATA, Inc.
- Canberra location - onsite
- 12 months contract + possible extension
- NV1 Clearance
The project is undertaking significant requirements development, systems engineering, architecture definition, hosting design, security planning and engineering documentation activities required to support Government approval, acquisition activities and enable incoming industry partners to commence delivery activities in 2027. These activities include development of engineering artefacts, system designs, requirements baselines, infrastructure planning, integration designs and technical governance products necessary to establish delivery environments and reduce implementation risk prior to contract mobilisation.
The Systems Engineer supports systems engineering, requirements development, technical analysis and acquisition preparation activities across the project. Security clearance is NV1 but NV2 is preferred.
The Systems Engineer will:
- Conduct system and subsystem requirements analysis, decomposition and traceability activities.
- Support development of system specifications and engineering artefacts ensuring requirements remain traceable to operational needs, FPS and Defence verification and validation processes.
- Support early-stage systems engineering activities including requirements refinement, design activities and engineering assessments.
- Support development of subsystem architectures, design descriptions, interface specifications and associated engineering products.
- Support development of technical procurement artefacts including AUSDEFCON documentation, Statements of Requirement (SoR) and Statements of Work (SoW).
- Develop and maintain engineering artefacts including FPS, SSDDs, Workforce Plans, Supply System Design Requirements, SEDs, HLDs and Detailed Designs.
