We are building the systems, processes and infrastructure we need to remain at the forefront of the circular economy journey. As such, we're searching for individuals who have the resilience and drive required to help us on that path.
Together, we believe we can achieve a more sustainable future; a future in which waste is a resource.

Purpose and Responsibilities
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Operational Intelligence Analyst to support operational leaders with trusted reporting, clear insights and practical recommendations that improve business performance.
You will use data to identify opportunities, challenge existing practices where appropriate, and support continuous improvement across fleet, route-based operations and frontline performance.
This is an exciting opportunity for an analyst who is equally comfortable working with data, systems and frontline operations, and who wants to make a visible impact on operational performance.
Some of the key responsibilities are:
- Build trusted operational reporting: develop reporting and analytical solutions end to end, including data modelling, data preparation, insight generation and performance reporting.
- Improve data quality at source: reconcile data across multiple systems, identify discrepancies, determine root causes and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Translate insight into action: turn complex analysis into clear, concise and actionable recommendations for operational leaders and frontline teams.
- Support operational performance: provide analysis across route planning, run allocation, productivity, fleet utilisation, payload management, driver rostering, overtime, bin fleet management and weighbridge data flows.
- Drive continuous improvement: identify process improvement opportunities, support operational observations and process mapping, and help deliver measurable business outcomes.
Experience and Qualification s:
- Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, Finance or a related discipline.
- Previous experience building reporting and analytical solutions end to end, including data modelling, data preparation and insight generation - not just report production.
- Experience working within, or directly supporting, an asset-intensive or route-based operational environment such as waste management, transport and logistics, utilities, mining services, heavy industry or manufacturing.
- Advanced Power BI capability, including semantic modelling, DAX, Power Query, star-schema design, incremental refresh, row-level security and performance optimisation.
- Strong SQL skills, including joins, window functions, aggregations and the ability to identify and investigate data anomalies.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and working with complex operational datasets from multiple sources.
- Strong understanding of operational reporting, KPI frameworks and performance measurement.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Power Apps, Power Automate, WastEdge, AMCS Platform, Mandalay, ClearWeigh or similar systems would be highly regarded.
Please note that this role is based at our head office in Mascot, NSW. There is an ability to work from home one day a week.
