About The Opportunity

As Assistant Store Manager of Prouds Mt Pleasant, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales performance and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
You’ll also have the opportunity to step up and lead the store when required, building the experience and confidence to further develop your retail leadership career.
You'll Have The Opportunity To
- Support the Store Manager to lead, inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Lead by example on the sales floor, building authentic customer relationships and maximising every sales opportunity.
- Coach and motivate Team Members to achieve individual and store sales goals.
- Take ownership of store performance and operations when the Store Manager is away.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of Team Members.
- Assist with store operations including inventory, administration, rostering, visual standards and loss prevention.
- Help create a positive, accountable team culture where great performance is recognised and celebrated.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an energetic and commercially minded retail leader who enjoys selling, developing people and taking responsibility.
You'll Bring
- Previous retail leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Manager, 2IC, 3IC or senior sales professional ready for the next step.
- A genuine passion for selling and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- The ability to coach, motivate and support others to achieve strong sales results.
- Confidence to step up and lead the store when required.
- Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems calmly and professionally.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with customers and your team.
- A polished, professional approach with resilience, positivity and high standards.
