An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and passionate Tutor Sonographer to join Lumus Imaging at our new Golden Grove site in South Australia. This dedicated clinical and tutoring role will support our North East Sonographer Training Program and will be primarily based at Golden Grove, playing a key role in developing the next generation of sonographers. This role will also cover Royal Park and Modbury.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced sonographer to pass on their wealth of knowledge, expertise and skills by mentoring, training and supporting their co-workers in the training, and upskilling of trainee sonographers, junior sonographers, and experienced sonographers.

This role is suitable to an experienced sonographer who is looking to make a real difference in growing what is already a large corporate imaging practice in Australia and make a significant impact in the company’s culture in South Australia

Essential

  • Qualified Sonographer with extensive experience in ultrasound imaging; musculoskeletal, vascular, general, obstetrics and interventional.
  • Experience in undertaking 1 on 1 training of beginner sonographers, through to the upskilling and providing further growth to more experienced sonographers as well as educating referrers
  • Leadership qualities that encourage change
  • Experience in the development of sonographer training programs
  • Experience in presenting and sharing information through different media and techniques.
  • Experience in the development and delivery of a sonographer CPD program
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in using the latest ultrasound imaging techniques and technologies
  • Ability to manage a team and work within a team environment
  • ASAR Accreditation
  • A strong commitment to quality and patient care - essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise busy workloads
  • Capable of working independently and in a team

Employment with Healthcare Imaging Services is conditional on attainment of a Working with Children Clearance and National Police clearance.
