About The Role
Our client is seeking a Family Lawyer to join the Torquay‑based team on a part‑time basis, working 28 hours per week. You'll work across a broad range of family law matters including property, parenting, spousal maintenance, financial agreements and divorce matters supported by senior practitioners and a well‑organised national practice framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across a broad range of family law matters including property, parenting, spousal maintenance, financial agreements and divorce matters
- Provide matter work supported by senior practitioners and a well‑organised national practice framework
- Dedicate time per week to business development, including building relationships within the community and strengthening referral networks
- Contribute to the continued growth of the South‑Western regional practice
About You
- Admitted solicitor with a current practising certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience in family law
- Compassionate, empathetic approach with clients
- Strong software proficiency and comfort with modern practice tools
- Steady communicator who can support clients through difficult decisions
- Someone who values community, professionalism and balanced practice life
