This project will provide the Customer with a consolidated Support Services Center as the focal point to receive, plan, program, allocate resources, schedule, document, reserve/Issue and communicate requirements for Work Orders.

Who You Are

KBR is in search of a skilled Hospitality Manager to manage the Government work order management process. You will manage a team of specialists, focusing on managing dining services, custodial services, transportation and hospitality functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical acumen, an eye for detail, and a proven ability to make decisions and adhere to strict deadlines.

This is a 24x7 operation which requires provision of on-call support. Your role transcends conventional limits, placing a premium on the solid availability of essential systems. It's imperative that these systems remain operational without interruption. Your vigilant oversight and proactive maintenance strategies are the cornerstones of our commitment to delivering stellar customer service.

This role will be located in Alice Springs, Australia at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space. This position is expected to be onsite 100%.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award.

What You’ll Do

In the role of

Hospitality Manager , your duties will include:

  • Operate and maintain a dining facility in accordance with the appropriate Host Nation health and sanitation standards for food preparation and handing
  • Conduct all cleaning of food preparation and food service areas in accordance with Host Nation Health Code regulations
  • Provide catering service for official and VIP events
  • Maintain, stock, and manage site vending machines in accordance with the appropriate Host Nation health and sanitation standards for food preparation and handing
  • Collect, stage, pick-up, and conduct off-site disposal of all trash (Classified & Unclassified), construction material, and recycling
  • Manage custodial cleaning services
  • Manage and maintain on-site ATMs in coordination with the local banking institute
  • May provide work direction
  • Communicating effectively with diverse teams, responding to questions, and solving a range of operational issues

Requirements

  • Possess an active Secret Security Clearance, or Host Nation NV-1 Clearance
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting projects of similar scope, size and complexity
  • A minimum of two (2) consecutive years of supervisory experience in Food Services or Hospitality service
  • Knowledge of process improvement models
  • Experience providing high-quality customer service
  • Experience managing help desk services and work order management systems
  • Demonstrated experience in managing dining services, custodial services and hospitality functions
  • Demonstrated experience incorporating applicable environmental health and safety practices across responsible work areas
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics
