About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Contracts and Procurement, you will play a key role in delivering commercial value across the business through the end-to-end management of contracts and procurement activities. Working closely with operational, project, and corporate stakeholders, you will lead sourcing initiatives, manage complex contractual arrangements, and develop strong supplier partnerships that support safe, efficient, and cost-effective business outcomes.

Please note: This role is full time based in our Subiaco Office

In this role, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of contracts across the full lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiation, execution, contract administration, variations, and close-out.

  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including tender development, commercial evaluation, negotiation, and award recommendations.

  • Provide commercial and contractual advice to operational and project teams to support informed decision-making.

  • Administer contracts to ensure compliance with commercial obligations and effectively manage claims and dispute resolution processes.

  • Leverage market intelligence, cost drivers, and industry trends to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to enhance performance and collaboration.

  • Drive robust contract governance, risk management, and probity practices across procurement and contracting activities.

  • Analyse spend, supplier performance, and market data to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and continuous improvement.

  • Develop contracting strategies aligned with operational requirements and future growth objectives.

About You

You are a proactive and commercially minded contracts professional with a strong ability to influence stakeholders and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • 10+ years' experience managing high-value and high-risk contracts, ideally within mining, resources, construction, or related industries.

  • Proven experience in end-to-end procurement and contract management, including tendering, commercial evaluations, contract drafting, negotiation, and contract administration.

  • A tertiary qualification in Law, Procurement, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to secure favourable business outcomes.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to utilise data and market insights to support decision-making and value creation.

  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement
