A valued client here at Verse is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer / Architect to support a complex global environment across network security, architecture and ongoing project delivery.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in providing engineering, architectural and governance support across a range of network and security initiatives. Strong Palo Alto experience is essential, with exposure to modern network security and cloud environments highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide network engineering and security support across a global environment.
  • Design, configure and commission new network sites and security solutions.
  • Support Palo Alto firewalls, Prisma Access and Prisma SD-WAN.
  • Provide network and security architecture guidance across LAN, WAN and cloud environments.
  • Support SASE, network security and Azure networking initiatives.
  • Review and improve firewall policies, configurations and security standards.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to MSPs and third-party suppliers.
  • Support governance, assurance and SecOps activities.
  • Help drive the adoption of security capabilities including device security, SaaS and DLP.

What You'll Need

  • Strong experience across network security engineering and/or architecture.
  • Proven Palo Alto experience with a solid understanding of Palo Alto security principles.
  • Strong enterprise networking knowledge across LAN, WAN and routing.
  • Experience with Prisma Access and/or Prisma SD-WAN is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of Azure networking and network security.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge and provide technical direction.
  • Experience working across architecture, governance and third-party delivery environments.
