Our Launceston Business Advisory team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a close-knit, high-performing team. Work closely with the Director of Business Advisory (TAS) with regular one-on-one mentoring, guidance and support to help you grow your advisory capability.

Role responsibilities
- Collaborate with the client manager to manage a portfolio of clients
- Apply your technical knowledge to prepare complex special purpose reports, financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, and trusts
- Prepare monthly management reports, cash flow statements, and clear, logical working papers
- Develop and manage client budgets and forecasts
- Assist with consulting work, including the provision of tailored tax advice
- Review and provide quality feedback on junior team members' work, supporting their growth through coaching and delegation
Role requirements
- A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent degree
- Completed (or close to completing) CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ Australian experience in accounting, ideally within public practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Motivation to grow professionally and contribute to team development
- A genuine interest in mentoring and upskilling junior team members
- Ability to develop trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues
