An organisation in the Not For Profit sector located in Inner Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.
Job Description
- Month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- General ledger maintenance
- Fixed asset register management
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- Audit preparation and year-end activities
- ELT cost-centre reporting and business partnering
- Weekly expenditure analysis and variance investigation
- Review and approve payroll processed by the Bookkeeper
- Manage payroll adjustments, leave entitlements, allowances and related reconciliations
- Support end-to-end payroll activities when required
- Accounts payable and receivable oversight
- BAS, tax, superannuation and regulatory lodgements
- Supporting finance systems, policies and process improvements
The Successful Applicant
- Experience using Xero
- Strong payroll experience (ideally end-to-end)
- For Purpose sector experience desirable
- Min 2-5+ years' accounting experience
- CA/CPA qualified is desirable
- Experience across month-end reporting, reconciliations, payroll, AP/AR, and audit support
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner with senior stakeholders
- Hands-on attitude and willingness to work in a growing organisation
What's on Offer
- Competitive salary package between $115,000 and $135,000 + superannuation.
- Fixed-term contract October 2026 - April 2027
- Part time 4 days (hybrid work 2 days from home)
