Retail Sales Consultant

Overview

The QStore is a leading firearms, ammunition, and reloading supplies retail business located in Belmont, Brisbane. We are passionate about providing our members and customers with quality products, expert advice, and exceptional customer service. Our extensive product range includes ammunition, optics, gun safes, reloading components and reloading equipment.

As a Retail Sales Consultant, you will be a key member of our team and often the first point of contact for our customers. You will provide professional product advice, process sales, and assist customers both in-store and over the phone.

Working within a highly regulated industry, attention to detail, professionalism, and compliance are critical components of this role.

Must be able to work on Saturdays.

Role Responsibilities

• Serving customers and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Providing professional advice on firearms, ammunition, optics, equipment, and associated products.
• Responding to customer enquiries in-store, over the phone, and via email.
• Processing sales transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
• Supporting fellow team members with daily store operations.
• Adhering to all Weapons Licensing regulations and firearms legislation.
• Following organisational safety policies and procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional retail environment.

• Previous retail sales experience will be highly regarded.
• Reloading knowledge and experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• Current Queensland Category A & B Firearms Licence.
• Current Queensland Driver Licence.
• Demonstrated firearms handling and industry experience.
• Ability to meet all legislative and compliance requirements associated with firearms sales.

Desirable Qualifications

• Forklift Licence.
• Experience within the firearms, hunting, or sporting retail industry.
• Reloading experience and product knowledge.
