Electrical Estimator

We have partnered with an established electrical and automation business that delivers high-end custom residential projects across Melbourne's South-East, from Toorak through to the Mornington Peninsula as they look to bring on an experienced Electrical Estimator.

This role is for someone who can take ownership of the estimating process, bring technical insight to the table and help improve the way projects are priced and delivered.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing estimates, take-offs and detailed quotes for electrical projects
• Reviewing plans and refining estimates to ensure accuracy and profitability
• Managing variations and supporting projects through to delivery
• Working closely with the Director, Project Manager and Automation Manager
• Identifying opportunities to improve estimating processes and systems
• Progressively becoming involved in client meetings and the sales process

What we're looking for

• Solid experience in electrical estimating
• Strong technical understanding of electrical installations and project requirements
• Ability to read plans, identify issues and provide detailed technical input
• Someone experienced enough to challenge the process and suggest better ways of doing things
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and project teams

The role

• $110k-$140k + super
• South-East Melbourne
• Preference for 3-4 days in the office, with flexible working hours
• Laptop + phone provided
