The Company

Our client is a leading Federal Government organisation responsible for delivering critical cyber, intelligence and technology capabilities. They are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to support multiple ICT projects within a complex and highly secure environment.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to facilitate Agile delivery, drive continuous improvement, and enable high-performing teams to successfully deliver business outcomes. You will work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, technical teams, and governance bodies to ensure successful delivery across multiple ICT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives and Backlog Refinement
• Coach Agile teams, Product Owners and stakeholders on Scrum and Agile best practices
• Foster high-performing, self-managing and collaborative teams
• Remove delivery impediments and proactively manage risks and dependencies
• Escalate issues through appropriate governance channels where required
• Prepare reports and updates for governance forums and steering committees
• Monitor and communicate key Agile metrics including velocity, sprint predictability, burn-down and burn-up charts
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across Agile teams and delivery functions

What We Need From You

Essential Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience leading Agile delivery teams within complex ICT environments
• Strong understanding and practical application of Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Proven ability to influence and build productive relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels
• Experience coaching individuals, teams and leadership groups in Agile practices
• Strong capability in identifying, assessing and managing risks, dependencies and delivery impediments
• Experience supporting high-performing cross-functional teams
• Strong communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Experience using Agile delivery tools and reporting metrics to drive continuous improvement
