Your New Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our Electrical Construction team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in securing new work and supporting the continued growth of the business through the preparation of accurate estimates, quotations, and tender submissions across electrical maintenance and project works.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions for electrical projects and maintenance contracts.
• Conducting site visits and engaging directly with clients regarding upgrades, maintenance works, and new project opportunities.
• Coordinating complex tender submissions and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Reviewing plans, specifications, and technical documentation to complete detailed take-offs.
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to secure competitive pricing.
• Identifying risks, opportunities, and value-add solutions throughout the estimating process.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders to support future growth opportunities.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Previous experience in electrical estimating, project delivery, maintenance, construction, or building services.
• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards, including AS3000 and AS3008.
• Sound understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation practices.
• Proven ability to prepare accurate quotations and estimates across projects of varying size and complexity.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
