Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Female Support Specialist to join our team in providing support to clients in an all-female home setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dementia in adults and mental health issues, as well as the ability to provide high-quality care and support to those in need.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized support and care to clients in a residential setting.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Follow individualized care plans based on client needs and goals.
• Monitor client progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and incident reports.

Skills

• Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia or mental health issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Knowledge of dementia care practices and strategies for supporting individuals with their needs.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
• NDIS workers screening check and orientation Module certificate.
