Business Support Officer

National Credit Insurance (Brokers) Pty Ltd

Do you love helping people, solving problems and making technology work for users?

Are you the person others turn to when they need help navigating a system, learning new technology or finding a solution? If you enjoy delivering exceptional customer service and want to work in a role that combines people, technology and problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for application support, assisting both internal teams and external clients. You'll troubleshoot issues, provide training, support new system enhancements, and help deliver a positive user experience across our technology platforms.

Your Duties Will Include

  • Providing friendly and responsive support to clients and internal users across NCI's applications.
  • Managing phone, email, and Teams enquiries, resolving issues and troubleshooting system-related problems.
  • Conducting system demonstrations and training sessions, both virtually and in person.
  • Supporting the rollout of new application features and enhancements.
  • Creating and managing client credit applications with a high level of accuracy.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.

This opportunity is a permanent, full time position. For the right candidate, we may consider 0.8 or 0.9 FTE.

About You

You enjoy helping people, solving problems and delivering great customer service. You're organised, a critical thinker and comfortable working with technology, and you take pride in providing a positive experience for every stakeholder you support. You don't need experience in insurance and this is not a traditional IT support role!

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Bring

  • Experience in an administration, customer service or adjacent support role.
  • An interest in technology and how systems can improve business outcomes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, positive approach and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Sound computer skills and confidence using a variety of systems and applications.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • An interest in, or exposure to, the financial services industry is desirable.

We will provide you with comprehensive training and support to ensure your success.
