As our Region Security Manager - APAC, you'll play a vital role in protecting our people, operations, assets and reputation across one of the world's most diverse and dynamic regions.

Working as part of our Global Security & Resilience team, you'll provide leadership across security, resilience, crisis response, intelligence and business continuity, helping ensure Jacobs remains prepared, protected and resilient in an increasingly complex risk environment.

This is a unique opportunity to influence security strategy across Asia Pacific while partnering with leaders across the business and a globally connected team of security professionals.

As the Region Security Manager for APAC, you will

• Act as a trusted advisor on security and resilience matters across the region.
• Lead security programs designed to protect our people, operations and assets.
• Monitor emerging threats, risk trends and geopolitical developments impacting our business.
• Support emergency response, crisis management and business continuity activities.
• Partner with business leaders to strengthen security awareness and capability.
• Manage physical security programs and support the implementation of security technologies and systems.
• Build strong relationships with external agencies, government bodies and law enforcement organisations where appropriate.
• Contribute to investigations relating to security incidents and corporate policy matters.
• Support regional travel security and workforce protection programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues across our global security network to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Here's what you'll need

We are keen to connect with experienced security professionals who combine strong operational expertise with commercial acumen and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. You may have built your career within defence or military environments, government agencies, law enforcement, corporate security, critical infrastructure, emergency management, crisis and resilience functions, or security consulting. Regardless of your background, you will bring a proactive approach to managing complex security challenges, delivering practical solutions, and supporting organisational objectives in a dynamic environment.

Experience in areas such as the following would be highly regarded

• Enterprise security management
• Physical security design and implementation
• Crisis and emergency management
• Business continuity and resilience
• Intelligence analysis and threat assessment
• Security investigations
• Travel risk management
• Mass communication and emergency notification platforms
• Security governance and compliance frameworks
• ISO standards and security best practice

You'll have significant autonomy to shape outcomes across the APAC region, working with a diverse range of stakeholders, cultures and operating environments. You'll be part of a close-knit global team where trust, collaboration and expertise matter. While the team is geographically dispersed, there is a strong sense of connection and shared purpose.

Given the nature of the role, there will be occasions where incident response, crisis management or emergency situations require support outside of traditional business hours. Flexibility is important.
