About The Role

As a Senior Technical Solutions Specialist, Geology, you will help drive the success of Seequent’s geological modelling solutions by combining advanced technical expertise with strong customer engagement. You will deliver tailored support, training and mentoring to mining customers, helping users progress from product trials to confident, advanced use of Seequent’s geoscience solutions.

Working closely with regional and global technical teams, sales colleagues and software development teams, you will promote best-practice workflows, contribute to solution improvements and support the commercial growth of Seequent’s software suite. This is a hands-on, office-based role in Perth with regional and international travel.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Share expert product knowledge, workflows and integrated solutions with mining customers, with a primary focus on Seequent’s Mineral Resource Management solutions.
• Partner with Account Managers and new sales teams to understand client workflows, deliver product demonstrations, establish trials and create implementation plans.
• Provide remote technical support and tailored guidance, working through real customer examples and developing practical solutions to complex challenges.
• Conduct proactive customer health checks, promote new releases and help users embed new features and best-practice workflows into their operations.
• Deliver regular training on Leapfrog Geo, Edge and Central, helping customers build capability, confidence and proficiency in the software.
• Collaborate with regional and global technical specialists and software development teams to represent user needs, strengthen solutions and support strategic business objectives.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• A bachelor-level geoscience qualification, with geostatistics knowledge preferred, and at least 8 years’ experience in resource and/or mining roles.
• Experience in geological modelling and resource estimation workflows across different commodities, supported by strong 3D geological modelling software skills.
• Highly technical and professional English communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Experience in mine geology, resource geology and/or consulting, including long-term mineral resource estimation or short-term grade control workflows.
• Proficiency with Leapfrog for geological modelling and resource estimation; experience with Python or other scripting-based estimation and simulation workflows is highly desirable.
• A customer-focused and collaborative approach, with the confidence to mentor others, manage competing priorities independently and build sustainable working relationships.

Location and additional information

This is an office-based role in Perth, Australia. The position may involve approximately 10–20% travel within the region and overseas.
