We’re looking for a Production Team Member / Sheet Metal Worker to join our Austral Monsoon team in Carole Park, QLD. Whether you’ve worked as a factory hand, machine operator, production operator, or you’re looking for a fresh start, we’ll provide training and support to help you succeed.

What You’ll Do

Key Accountabilities / Primary Responsibilities

• Assembling and adjusting components using hand and power tools
• Operating machinery, such as beam saws, hand routers, CNC machines.
• Read and understand workshop drawings.
• Fabrication of profile lengths using bending and cutting machinery.
• Identify different material types and thicknesses.
• Conduct quality control checks on own Work.
• Complete required paperwork.

What We’re Looking For

• Sheet Metal or equivalent work experience
• Welding Experience
• Work within tolerance; ensure quality in the product.
• Maintaining production levels as required.
• Sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to follow direction as well as the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level and square.
• Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specification.
• Must be able to operate sheet metal machinery and welding equipment.

You’ll also:

• Report defective goods
• Perform basic equipment maintenance
• Keep your work area clean and safe
