About Our Client

Our client is a large, multi-site organisation with operations across Australia. Due to continued business growth, they are expanding their payroll function and are seeking a motivated Payroll Officer to join their established team.

Job Description

  • Prepare and process employee payroll in accordance with organisational policies and compliance regulations.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Calculate and reconcile employee entitlements, including leave and superannuation contributions.
  • Address payroll-related queries and provide prompt resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

The Successful Applicant

  • 1-2 years experience in payroll processing within a structured environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, including tax and superannuation requirements.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage payroll queries effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
