Program Coordinator

Location: MidCoast NSW

Join a team that's helping shape the future of the MidCoast while enjoying the perfect balance of meaningful work and an exceptional lifestyle on the Barrington Coast.

The Opportunity

Help our community recover, reconnect, and build resilience for the future. We are currently seeking and experienced Program Coordinator for a 2 year fixed term to work with community and local businesses and service providers impacted by the 2025 MidCoast flood disaster.

You'll listen to what our communities need and turn those needs into action - coordinating recovery projects from planning through to delivery, administering the Community Flood Recovery and Resilience Grants Program, managing budgets and reporting, and facilitating community workshops, activities and consultation. You'll bring recovery partners together through the Community Resilience Network, connect community with the right people and resources across Council, and coordinate practical, community-led initiatives that strengthen local connections, wellbeing and resilience.

You'll bring experience in community development, recovery or resilience, with a strong track record of coordinating projects and working with communities to deliver meaningful outcomes. You'll be confident managing competing priorities and deadlines, administering grants and budgets, and working with a diverse range of people - from residents and community groups to service providers and government agencies. Most importantly, you'll know how to listen, build trust and strong relationships, and keep things moving from conversation through to delivery.
