About Our Client
Our client is a well-known logistics business, with their main operations being road and rail transportation of speciality goods. Located in Truganina, this role will help lead their Finance function and play a key role in team development. This role will be 4-days on-site and offer 1-day work from home flexibility.
Job Description
- Manage financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Analyse financial data to support decision-making.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
- Lead a team of 3.
- Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders as required.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Expertise in analysing financial data to provide actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional membership or certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is highly regarded.
