Sedgman is seeking a Lubrication Technician to join our growing team at Mount Pleasant.
Located just 2.5km from Muswellbrook, Mount Pleasant offers a modern CHPP operation and a strong community feel, with the majority of employees living and working locally.
Working a 4-day roster with day shifts only, you'll enjoy a 3-day weekend every week while playing a key role in maintaining one of the region's leading coal handling and preparation plants.
This is an opportunity to work alongside an experienced Lubrication Technician while building your skills across lubrication and condition monitoring activities.
What you'll be doing
• Carrying out lubrication and greasing activities across fixed plant equipment.
• Completing assigned lubrication work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Collecting and recording vibration analysis data as part of condition monitoring programs.
• Conducting routine inspections and identifying equipment issues before they become failures.
• Troubleshooting lubrication-related issues and supporting plant reliability.
• Reviewing and updating lubrication schedules, routes and quantities where required.
• Working closely with site maintenance teams to support safe and efficient operations.
What we're looking for
• Experience working in mining, CHPP, heavy industrial, manufacturing or similar operational environments.
• Previous lubrication experience is highly regarded; however, mechanically minded tradespeople looking to move into lubrication are encouraged to apply.
• Exposure to condition monitoring or vibration analysis would be beneficial.
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a field-based environment involving extensive walking.
• Current driver's licence and ability to travel to site as required.
• Comfortable using computer-based reporting and maintenance systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and report equipment defects or emerging issues.
