The role requires expertise in IFRS, strategic analysis, and a commitment to fostering continuous improvement within our finance operations. As part of the Group Reporting Team, you'll be the cornerstone of financial reporting for the APM Group, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and providing technical accounting support. Your role will involve close collaboration with our global finance teams, auditors, and other stakeholders to uphold financial integrity and compliance.
About You
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships within finance and the wider organisation.
- Comfortable reviewing others work and providing feedback in a collaborative and positive manner.
- Proven working knowledge of accounting processes and IFRS.
- A proactive approach to change management and adaptability in a dynamic working environment.
- Self-motivated with exceptional time management and prioritisation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Your duties
- Prepare monthly journals and Group consolidations for month-end closures.
- Run the S4Hana accounting consolidation process and maintain system hierarchies and chart of accounts.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations, investigations, and corrections of variances.
- Prepare of technical papers for significant transactions.
- Assisting with board pack preparations, analytics, and compliance reporting.
- Providing technical accounting support across global finance teams.
- Collaborating with auditors, preparing consolidated financial statements, and ensuring completeness of disclosures.
- Driving process improvement initiatives to bolster efficiency and control.
- Support adhoc projects as required
