Manager, People Operations

This is a rare opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary People team and play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy of a complex and operationally focused business.

Reporting through a dual leadership structure, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior executives while leading a team spanning Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition and People Services. You will be responsible for translating people strategy into practical business outcomes, ensuring the organisation continues to build capability, manage risk effectively and create a high performing workplace culture.

The Opportunity

Leading a team of experienced HR professionals, you will:

• Partner closely with executive leaders to align people initiatives with business priorities.
• Lead and develop a team of Business Partners, Talent Acquisition professionals and People Services specialists.
• Drive workforce planning, organisational capability and leadership development initiatives.
• Provide guidance across employee and industrial relations matters, partnering with specialist experts where required.
• Support transformation programs, change initiatives and the ongoing evolution of people systems and processes.
• Champion a collaborative, commercially focused and customer-oriented People function.

About You

You are an experienced HR leader who combines strong commercial judgement with a pragmatic and people-focused approach.

You will bring

• Demonstrated success leading a multidisciplinary HR or People team.
• Broad experience across business partnering, talent acquisition, employee relations and organisational development.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders constructively.
• Experience operating within complex, matrixed or geographically dispersed organisations.
• A practical understanding of employment and industrial relations frameworks.
• A track record of leading teams through growth, transformation or operational change.
