Building Estimator

We are working with an insurance building and repair specialist with over 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry. They are looking for a Building Estimator to join their team.

The role is ideal for someone who's looking to step into estimating from a Carpentry background.

The Role

• Inspect residential and commercial properties to assess building damage
• Prepare detailed scopes of work and accurate cost estimates
• Compile causation and repair reports for insurers
• Coordinate trades and oversee repairs through to completion
• Maintain strong communication with clients, insurers, consultants, and subcontractors

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualified, ideally carpentry or construction experience
• Hands-on understanding of residential and commercial building methods
• Strong estimating and quoting skills (or keen to develop them)
• Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple projects

Salary $90K - $115K + Super + Car (depending on experience)
