About the opportunity

As Faculty Administrator, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and reception support to RACGP Faculty in Tasmania, working closely with the State Manager, Member Engagement Team Lead and Member Engagement Team Coordinator, Faculty Council and local teams. Based in Hobart and reporting to the Member Engagement Team Lead, you’ll support members, events, office operations and faculty activities that strengthen RACGP’s connection with GPs across Tasmania.

As our Faculty Administrator, you’ll also

• Provide professional reception and administrative support, responding to member enquiries and managing the Tasmania Faculty inbox and office operations.
• Coordinate meetings, calendars, travel, records and committee documentation for the State Manager, Faculty Council and working groups.
• Support faculty advocacy, educational, member engagement and other events, including occasional evening and weekend activities.
• Maintain effective office systems, records and financial processes to support the smooth delivery of RACGP Tasmania’s activities and member services.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience in administration or reception, with a strong focus on organisation, attention to detail and customer service.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional correspondence and build positive stakeholder relationships.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems, with a willingness to learn new systems, processes and tools as required.
