Employee Relations Specialist

You’ll love this role if you enjoy being the person people turn to when a situation isn't black and white. This role suits someone with a background in Employee Relations, HR or Law who prefers practical problem solving over pure policy work and wants to help leaders navigate real workplace challenges with confidence.

You'll spend your days partnering with leaders, P&C teams and stakeholders across the business, working through investigations, performance concerns, conduct matters and other complex employee issues. Some days will involve providing quick, practical advice. Others will require careful investigation, balancing risk, legislation and business outcomes.

You'll be supported by experienced leaders and exposed to a broad range of ER matters, giving you the opportunity to deepen your expertise while building influence across the business. It's a role where your judgement matters, your advice is valued and the work you do has a direct impact on people's experiences at work.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing complex employee relations matters from initial advice through to resolution
• Leading workplace investigations and providing recommendations based on facts, risk and business context
• Coaching leaders through performance, conduct, grievance and sensitive people matters
• Interpreting legislation, awards, contracts and policies to provide practical, commercial advice
• Working with P&C, Legal and business stakeholders to balance employee outcomes, compliance and risk
• Identifying trends and recurring issues, helping improve leader capability, policies and processes over time
