About the role

Securecorp is seeking a Full-Time Control Room Officer for a key site in Ipswich. This role focuses on monitoring, incident response, and delivering high-quality customer service within a security-sensitive environment on a permanent roster designed to support work-life with a inside / outside roster with 12 hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and respond to situations of risk or hazard
  • Access control and monitoring CCTV, alarm systems
  • Incident report writing and data logs
  • Site safety and monitoring
  • Providing consistent high quality customer service
  • Control access to security sensitive areas
  • Interact with various stakeholders including client representatives, building and facilities management, contractors, emergency services, employees and the general public
  • Monitor Access control, alarm control and CCTV to detect any security breaches or incidents
  • Risk identification, incident response and issue resolution
  • Access control
  • Incident report writing and data logs

Skills & Experience

  • Current Security License with crowd control
  • Control Room License
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • Impeccable presentation
  • Flexibility to work inside/ outside rosters with 12 hr shifts. Willingness to work nights/weekends
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Highly professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive attitude
